Sarah Harding was born in Ireland in 1810 I have no other information other than she married a Thomas Bendorffe and appears in 1841 Census living at Liverpool (surname is written as Bender) Trying to find where Sarah Harding lived in Ireland and who parents were. Joan

Joan...Does the 1841 Census give any info.re children of the marriage and if so where they were born....

To the best of my recall *Bendorffe* is a surname of Morovian origen and there were many of the Morovian Church living in Ireland (mainly the North) although they did establish the first Morovian Church in Dublin as early as late 1700s....All their records (BDM) which the Morovian Church was / is meticulous with are held in the NAI.

This is in my family tree. My grandmother was Elizabeth Bendorffe who married John Lomax. In the 1841 Sarah Bendorffe nee Harding who was born in Ireland is living in Liverpool. All census,s after had them living in Salford, Lancashire

Marie Celeste, Sarah was Elizabeth's great grandmother and Elizabeth Lomax nee Bendorffe was my maternal grandmother
