Don't you think it's fun for people to do their own searches, David?

;)

And of course David is right. Is the only thing you know about him that he married Beulah? What is it that you would like to know?

You have his birth way off. The only William Edward Paintin born 1875-1895 was in 1888. Again, you can order a birth cert to get his parents' names, or search for a Paintin marriage in that vicinity around that time. If you have census access, you can look for him in 81 and 91 ... if what you're looking for is ancestors.

If you're looking for descendants, search at FreeBMD for births with surname Paintin and mother Denyer. There are two.

If you need help looking for their marriages (in the complete index at Ancestry), that can be done.

Having FreeBMD means never having to say "about"!

http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl

With names like those, all you need is the names, no dates or places, to search.

The marriage was actually in 1918. You can use the details at FreeBMD to order the marriage certificate, which will give you the parties' ages and fathers' names.

Lot of scope and wasted effort trying to find "anything".

What do you already have?

Census? Parents? Siblings? Birth Cert? Marriage Cert? Army Records?
