could you look up George William Kitchen born 1892 Co. Durham and advise who he is with on the 1901 census, and if you have time he married Margeret A Meaghan in Lanchester Co. Durham in 1914, any thing you can find on her would be wonderfull.

As they are from Gloucestershire and the othe rfamily London, it is a matter of getting marriage certificates and working backwards. They are most likely cousins of some sort.

Yes it makes perfect sense to me as Lydia was born in the September quarter of 1889, so if she died in the first half of 1945 (your search doesn't say which quarter) she would have been 55. Also she died before I was born in 1947 which fits too. Since posting this request I believe I have found a GR contact who is Frank Mellors step daughter. She tells me he remarried in Halifax (to her mum) in 1953 and died In Halifax some time in 1958. So the mystery is unravelling, thanks for your help !

Sorry I missed your message before.

There are quite a few of the same name, so a bit difficult. But I found this one in Halifax as that is where you last know of her and age is correct
