Hi Jackie,
Thank you for that It makes interesting reading as I was lead to believe they went straight to Kent from Ireland but they may have lived elsewhere then. Thanks a lot for this information very very grateful for your help. Brenda

Hi Brenda,

Patrick was born: Ireland as was mother Mary.
Thomas was born City of London and the other 3 Woolwich, so they arrived in Kent by the time of Mary's birth

Hi Jackie,
Thank you very much for the information much appreciated. Could I ask you something else on the 1871 census was the father Patrick born in Ireland and also the son and daughter Thomas and Mary where were they born. Sorry to be a nag I'm trying to work out when the family arrived in Kent. As I know the parents arrived here from Ireland just wondered if all the children were born here.
Thanks Brenda

Jacqueline

Hi Jacqueline,
Wondering if you could help me I am looking for a Ellen Curran sometimes spelt Currin on the 1891 and 1871 census. She was born in Woolwich, Kent in 1862 had a brother Patrick born also in woolwich 1865 and in the 1881 census there was a mother for her Mary Currin born Cork, Ireland in 1832. No father but mother is not widow. They were living in Woolwich on the 1881 census I have her in 1901 census with a nephew patrick age 6 and niece mary age3 both born Woolwich, Kent and they were still living in Rope Yard Rails in Woolwich, Kent same address as the 1881 census, Ellen is down as single in 1901.
Many thanks if you can.
Brenda.

All I can ell you is that when there have been messages about people who could still be living, posts get removed. Perhaps you should contact genes directly and ask them why

Also, I'm afraid I do not have 1911 at present, sorry

Jackie
