This is just to try to confirm that this James Henderson was a son of Stewart Chaplin Henderson & Sarah or Alice Payne.

If we are correct James would have very likey have been born abt. 1904 Kent England and would have had 2 sisters Kate Mahala Henderson, Jessie Henderson also known as Jessie Scrymgeour Henderson and James brother was Charles Stewart Henderson. All these people were born in England and died in Glasgow between 1927 and 1985,

Their Father Stewart Chaplin Henderson

Sergeant Stewart Henderson: 3/3309, 8th Bn, Black Watch, (Royal Highlanders) who died on 10th July 1916 Remembered with honour THIEPVAL MEMORIAL FRANCE

If we are correct anyone who has any further information about James Henderson or are related to him or his brother or sisters we would be very grateful to hear from them.

Hi Ian,

Not quite sure what you are after here ?

Are you saying that you have confirmation that the Sgnt Stewart Henderson who died in 1916 WAS 'Stewart Chaplin Henderson', or are you looking for confirmation that this was in fact the same person??

Ancestry shows a birth place of Dundee for the one who died, if that helps at all?
