There's a tree on Ancestry which says she died in Durham - no date given.

I have searched for my Gt. Gt. Grandmother Margaret Taylor (nee - maiden name probably: Meikle, but one of her children's birth certificate spells her name as 'Mickell. Understand was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1820.

Later, married William Taylor, originally from Southwell, Nottinghamshire. The marriage took place in Quebec in 1837 - William being a member of the Royal Artillery in Quebec at the time. Their son, also William, was born there in 1839.
Can anyone help with this?

Just started to look up William Taylor and thought I'd struck gold, then realised I cannot compare dates, the part of England he lived in or anything, ah well. Mine's from Great Bardfield.
