Hi Catherine - just found an old post, I'm afraid, but Derrick was my father. He died a couple of years ago, I'm afraid, but his wife is still alive (they married in 1951. Annie died in 1957: the year I was born.)

If there's any information I can give you, please let me know.

If you were to buy this cert - with the ages and fathers' details of the bride and groom you would maybe be able to make contact with people who have them in their tree. Might make it easier to find living descendants.

Hi am searching for relatives of Derrick John Hawkes who was born in Southend on sea 1928. Have no info at all only that he attended my grandmothers funeral in 1950 along with his mother Annie Sutton. I only wish to add names to my family tree and discover what happened to Derrick. I hope some one can help, regards Catherine.
