My Grandfather was William Douglas Frederick Steele DOB 26/12/1923 and he had a sister named Patricia. He migrated to Halifax Nova Scocia and then to Australia where he married my nana Aylene Sollitt. Hopefully this is the person you are looking for.

We are trying to out what happened to William Douglas Fred Steele born at 11 Lower Clifton Street, Sowerby Bridge, Yorkshire on the 26 December 1923. He was known as Douglas and was the brother of Patricia Mary Steele who was my wife's mother. We have the birth record but cannot find anything else. Their parents were James William Frederick Steele and Ada Maud Jospehine Clinch.
