Member Since: September 2004 Posts: 5 Send Message	I apologise if this is confusing, but any help on the matter would be much appreciated as there seems to be a lot of mystery, and I have nothing to go on.......Here goes... I`m trying to find out ANY info on my Dad`s family history. His name is Noel McCausland, born Belfast 1947 to Annie McCrea and ? McCausland ( could be William). Annie`s mother died when Annie was 12 yrs old. I don`t know her name. Then Annie`s father, Mr.McCrea, took up with another woman, who I have discovered was Mary Jane McCausland..this was William McCausland`s mother! So, it`s possible that William and Annie were brought up as brother and sister.... Annie born circa 1900 Died c1987..She had a sister Violet (still living,but unable to answer questions) and a brother Samuel (nick-name Ginger McCrea).He was said to have ran a "house of ill-repute".lol..in Brown Square area of Belfast. William born ? died c1967 in Belfast.He was supposedly from the Crumlin rd area. Noel (my Dad), has Siblings; Alfred,Eric,Frankie,Jim,Willie who has been missing since the late 60s/early 70s. Margaret, and Violet (deceased 2007). If anyone recognises anything, then please get in touch. Cathy Corry.
