My wife Helena's grandmother was Ellen Lacey born Co. Galway Ireland in 1890.Ellen's sister Bridget born c1881 also known as Delia Leasy,moved to Renton Scotland with the whole Lacey family in the late 1890's,Bridget then went to Homestead PA ,USA in 1904,married a Patrick McCue in 1911.They had at least four children Mary, Edward, Margaret and Anna. Bridget's brother Mark also went to Homestead in 1912, he never married and spent his life living with McCue's and working in the Carnegie steel works, he returned to Dumbarton Scotland in the late 1960's and died there in 1970.I am trying to establish contact with any remaining McCue's. |
