I am trying to find maternal relatives SWALES. All from and around Bedfordshire. My Great grandmother born around 1887 was Elizabeth SWALES. She married Fred Crisp around 1925. She had 1 daughter also called Elizabeth born around 1905. Elizabeth (1905) had 3 children Peter, born around 1925, William born around 1928, and Ann born 1944. Peter was raised by the Crisps. Elizabeth (1887) was born in Hampton Hunts but lived in Bedfordshire with her parents James born Thurleigh around 1865 and Eliza born Buckworth Hunts around 1864. I would like to know when they were married so I can find out Elizas maiden name. James Swales (1865) parents were Elizabeth Born Keysoe Beds around 1835 and Benjamin born Bolnhurst Beds around 1835. Benjamin (1835) parents were George born Thurleigh 1798 and Sarah born Cambs 1802. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks Debbie |
