DeCourcy or Courcey lost in New York

What happened to my wife's Grandfather Patrick DeCourcey or Courcey.He was born 3rd April 1892 Doohulla,Ballyconnelly,Clifden,Co.Galway,Ireland.Maried Ellen Lacey 6th June1913 in St Martins,R.C.Renton,Dunbartonshire,Scotland.Left his wife and family in Scotland and emigrated to the USA 23/08/1923 ex Glasgow on the SS Columbia,arrived Boston 01/09/1923 went to his sister Mary DeCourcey,77 Temple St,West New Town,Boston.He then moved onto New York probably Rye Westchester,he had an uncle Thomas Courcey who lived there.
I believe that he drove a taxi from Rye beach to Rye station at one time.His death is recorded on his wife's grave in Dumbarton as 17/03/1930 in New York.I had a search for death cert done for NY state and vistied NY City records no luck.Any help to solve this long time family mystery would be greatfuly received.
