Thanks to Barbara last night I have found the family I was looking for in 1851 but there are some family members missing: Mary Ann wife c1820, son Charles and son Robert and some ages that don't tie up.

In 1861 in Greenwich, London I have:
William 47
Mary Ann 41
Emma 17
Charles 15
Edward 15
Robert 12
Henry 9
Alfred 6
Arthur 3 months

BUT in 1851 I have:

William 37
Sarah 12
Emma 7
Edward 2

I am asuming Edwards age is recorded wrongly in 1861 or that his age and Roberts age have been mixed up. Where is Mary Ann in 1851? I am wondering if Charles and Robert are with her somewhere - can anyone help find them in 1851 please.
