I need to find a baptism for James above in order to confirm his parentage. His father's name is recorded as John HARRIS on his marriage which took place in Independent Chapel in Hemel Hempstead in 1847. A Sarah HARRIS was a witness to this marriage and she might be his mother but I need proof. I have found baptisms in HH via PRs and IGI in both St. Mary's Church and non-conformist church with parents as John & Sarah HARRIS but no sign of James. Can anyone who has access to baptismal records for Hemel Hemstead do a look up for me or is anyone researching this line. All help gratefully received as I do not drive and I live in Suffolk.
