	Can anyone help, I have tried the India Office Web Site, FIBIS site, Familysearch and GOOGLE without any luck Trying to find information on Hannaford Alexander Gibbs known to be in India between 1866 - 1884 as his children where born and baptised there. I am led to believe that he was a Colonel in the Army based around the Madras area Can anyone point me to sites that may help me find any information on him. His wife was Eliza Amelia ? may have been Portugees? could be second wife? I have no dates only those for his childrens births - all for Madras ,Tamil Nadu, India He possibly was married before to a Grace O Knowen not confirmed Many thanks Ann
