Arthur William Darby Legge, my grandfather, used a hyphen in 1922 but ran a business as Legge only, and no hyphen on death certificate. Wondering if he might have been adopted or origin ex-UK. Born around 1894 and died in 1955. Looking for marriages to Edith May James (nee Scudder) or Sophie Florina Beesly. This message also listed under Darby-Legge, the surname given to my mother.
