I would be very interested to contact any relatives of my grandfather, William Wallace Louden, born Inverkeithing 1876, son of James Louden and Margaret (nee Drysdale) also of Inverkeithing who married there in 1862. My grandfather had 7 siblings, Robert, Thomas, John, Elizabeth (later Mrs. Drummond), Margaret (later Mrs. Manclark), and Hannah (later Mrs. Clifton). William married Bessie Moodie and by 1901 they were living in Dunfermline at 40, New Row. Shortly afterwards they moved to Wallasey on the Wirral and had three sons, James, George and Wallace. The majority of the siblings remained in the Fife area and had children and grandchildren (apart from Thomas who emigrated to Canada and had sone connexion with the Canadian Pacific Steamship Co.) but contact has sadly been lost. |
