My nana's sister was called Madge Wilson. She was born in Normanby, nr Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England in 1897. She married Stanley Bernard Perryman in 1917 in Scarborough, Yorkshire and they had a daughter called Deirdre Mabel Perryman (known as Mabel) in 1918 in Filey, Yorkshire. Stanley went to Canada in 1920 and Madge followed with Mabel in 1922. Mage Perryman returned to England around 1972/1973 to visit her sister Doris (known as Dot) before going back to Canada. That would have been the last time I heard of any news regarding Madge or Mabel. I would love to hear from anyone connected to Madge, Stanley or Mabel. A relative believes that Mabel may have had a son called Alan who would have been born in Canada, sadly I don't have his surname. |
