I have hit the proverbial brick wall in my search. I have traced my Glover family back to 1830s in Kerry, Southern Ireland. There seems to have been a small group of them living and working in the area. Glover is not a Kerry name and I am trying to find out where they came from before that. They were all stonemasons and a local historian told me that they were 'brought' in to build churches. I suspect they may have come from the UK. Does anyone know of a register of stonemasons or people working overseas or anything that might give me a lead.
Many thanks
Jan Glover
