Can anyone help please? Margaret Whitney nee rycroft and her husband john Whitney trvelled to England with their children Jackie 1909, Dorothy 1912, Hugh1915, Joseph 1918 and Patrick 1923 from having lived in Johannesburg to settle in Sheffield. All but John Whitney 1877 were born in south africa. John was born in Sheffield, he went to S.Africe to fight in thr Boar War.and afterwards was a goldminer. Have been unable to trace Margaret Whitney nee Rycroft. Old family member says she had another surname and it was on the shipping papers. Can you find out please?Thankyou Joanne.
