Hi trying to find any info on John Spence 1870 and his wife Mary Florence Keenan of Belfast. They had five children, William, Florence, Daniel, Robert and John (my grandfather).

Mary suffered very badly from arthritis and was in a wheelchair from when my grandfather was very young.

John Senior worked in the ship yards in Belfast and was also in some type of military service. We have a vague idea he was in France (not sure what war) were he worked in the medical field. Not as a doctor though.

Would love to find out about any of John or Mary's siblings, parents etc as I am having a very difficult time finding out anything from Australia.

The family lived just off Shankill road and my grandfather John jnr came to Australia when he was about eighteen around 1924.

Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks Pauline
