I am trying to find out more information about the above couple, who married in about 1824, then went to America in 1825, possibly as part of a cicrus. Their oldest son, Jesse, was born on board ship, 14 Oct 1825. Jesse is my gg-grandfather.

The family lived in New York state for about 5 years before moving to Ontario, Canada, in the area of the town of Barrie.

So far, I have not been able to find either Charles' or Mary's exact birth dates or birth places. Mary may have been born in Wales, but Charles told the census-takers that his place of birth was England.
