Our tree has come to a halt as far as my Grandad, George Hare born 8th january 1908 at 54 Barclay Road, Walthamstow, London. he died in 1981 but lost touch with his family about 1929 (ish) when he went to sea as a Merchant Seaman. His mother was Elizabeth Higgins (c1871) to which we have extensive knowledge of family, and as per his birth certificate his father was George Hare. He also had a brother John Hare (1905-1913), but on his birth/death certificate it gives father as John Hare!? |
