Hi! I am trying to trace relatives with connections to the Ward family in Birmingham, West Midlands. So far, my grandfather was John Edward Ward, born 1912. He was the son of Joseph Ward and Clara Lines and had several brothers and sisters including William, Agnes, Albert Patrick and Gilbert Lesley. Joseph's Parents were John and Annie ( Ann ) Ward. Joseph was born in Willenhall ( Staffordshire ) and his father, John, listed as Salop, Shrewsbury. I know several relatives are buried in the grounds of St Peters and St Pauls Church, Aston, Birmingham. I think John's father was possibly George Ward of Muchwenlock, Shropshire. He was a Blacksmith. Please get in touch as I would love to hear from you!! |
