Hi. My great grandfather was Thomas Henry Proctor born approx 1860 in Yorkshire (possibly Appleton) per his army papers. He married Alice Farrell in Cahil, Co Tipperary in 1885. They had Mary, Thomas, Laura, Hilda, Michael, Richard & Dorothy. He retired from the army and moved to Buckinghamshire where he married Hilda Harrod. They had Edward, Eileen, Patrick, Christopher & Aubrey.
I think Thomas' father was William and his mother may have been Hannah. I can't find his birth registered nor find him on 1871 census. By 1881 he was away in army. If anyone can help or the names ring a bell I would love to hear from you.
