Member Since: August 2008 Posts: 11 Send Message	My birth name was Shirley Wilson, adoptive name is Mary Griffiths although I am married therefore now Mary Andrews. I was born in 1948 and adopted to Daniel and Dorothy Griffiths in Rochester Kent. I am looking for my birth mother whose name is Margaret Wilson. Her last known address was Overton, Basingstoke. She was born approx 1927 give or take a few years either way (I don't have an exact birth year for her). Was in the Wrens and possibly lived in Basingstoke at a young age. Had a child (me) that was given up for adoption in 1948. Unfortunately that is all I know. I only have my birth certificate which has no fathers name on it. The only other information is her occupation at the time which was Machinist, on my birth certificate there is no middle name for her so I am assuming that she does not have one. Any information or help would be very greatly received as I just don't know where to start looking and really would love very much to trace my family.
