George c.1869. John, c.1870, Mathew c.1873, David b.30.07.1874, Michael c. 1876, Thomas c. 1878 ,James c, 1879,
Evan, c.1880/1875, Sarah c.1884, Alice. 1886. These are members of my family and I would like to hear from anyone connected to them. Resided in Picton Square, Penydarren, and Dowlais area of Merthyr Tydfil. Believe some relatives may be in the Llanbradach area of Glamorgan. There may be some connections in Aberdare, and Caepantywyll ,Evan (pr Eevan) may have been a Policeman or a Soldier, a photo I have shows him in the uniform of a bandsman but the collar badge is not clear, it looks like a deer or some kind of horse .In recent years I remember the names of Will George, Walter, Will lived in the Georgetown Square of Merthyr, Sarah Ann may have lived in Abercanaid.,My Mother's name was Leah and she had two sisters, Lizzie Mary, Alice, and a brother Iorwerth, who lived in the Swansea Road area. Lizzie Mary had a severely dislocated hip and was forced to wear a highly built up shoe, she lived opposite the Cosy Cinema Penydarren and was often seen on her doorstep by people at the Talbot Bus stop. Alice in her youth went into service in London with a family of Florists known as the Ashleys in the Wood Green area, returning home at the outbreak of war
