Mary Mcleish. Our relative came to Sydney Autralia in the early 1800 under the married name Mary Connor from Ireland. Her mother's family name was Mcleish - from where we do not know - Ireland or Scotland. We think Mary's name was really Fitzpatrick, her father was an Irish politician, Mary was caught gun running to the Irish rebellion, disowned by her family and charged under an alias. This is just oral history - does anyone know anything about a Mary Mcleish that came to Australia.
