I am researching the families of Thomas GRASSBY bap in East Torrington, Lincs 1803. First wife was a Harriet WELLS who died in 1837.

Four children from this marriage: John c. 1828, Frederick c. 1829, Lucy c. 1832 and Thomas c. 1833.

Second marriage to Esther KEMPSTER in Heath & Reach Beds. 1838

Eight children from this union but with mixed surnames - some GRASSBY, some HAMPSON, some KING.

Mary Ann Louisa b 1839, Edmund b. 1841, Lousa b 1844, Lucinda b 1846, Gabriel b 1849, Mary b 1851, Esther b 1853 and Samuel b. 1855.
