Hi all!

Am trying to find out about James Oakley born in 1914 in Dudley, West Midlands who I believe may be my uncle. His mother was Ida Hampton also born in Dudley. She married William T Oakley in 1910 and although she is my dad Joseph Oakley's mother her husband William is not on my dad's birth certificate!

William Oakley died in 1919 and Ida went on to have 3 more children but I am not sure if she maybe got married again. I have tried to trace a marriage or death for James Oakley without any success though. Maybe he never married or could even still be alive at the age of 94.

Can anyone help at all, come up with any ideas or could James Oakley be on your family tree?
