Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me. I am trying to find my grandfather. His name was Frank Boysen and he served in the US Merchant Navy in 1953. He was from Boston , USA.

He docked in Greenock, Inverclyde - Scotland. My grandmother Christina married my grandfather in 1953 around October time in Greenock and my father was born in July 1954. My grandfather returned to the USA and never met my father.

I do not have my grandfathers date of birth however, I do know he was in his early twenties in 1953.

My gran's maiden name was Miller - she remarried in the 50's and became Christina Buchan.

I would be grateful for any information that anyone can provide me with.

Many many thanks in advance!
