Member Since: February 2004 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am trying to find where John Leverstone Allen was born in Scotland 1796 and his parents. John joined the Royal Marines circa 1820, Married Sarah Howels at Portsea and had 3 children John born 1825, William born 1826 and Sarah born 1836. His wife Sarah died and John married again to Elizabeth Pitcher from Woolwich. They eventually moved to Chatteris in Cambridgeshire after having 7 more children.
