Hello, I am looking for any Churns or Driscolls out there, as I am a Churn, and my great grand father (James born 1897) his name was changed to Churn from Driscoll when he was about 5 years old. in 1903 this was due to his Dad (Also James) changing the family sir name, During the Boer war.
I know my greatgrandfather married a Christina Whelan, and James Churn/ Driscoe had some younger brothers and sisters, registered with the sir name churn, and probably lived in the Farnborough area, Hampshire. Also I cant seem to find much information on Great grandfather James Driscoll 1873, or his wife Louisa. They were married in Dublin Ireland. Id be greatful for any information people could give me. Kind regards
Heidi
