Hi
I wondered if everyone with a Place Family History were aware that there is a PLACE Y-DNA Project going on within the Place email list at rootsweb. We are having our DNA tested with Familytree DNA and results can also be postd to ysearch.org as other companies are being used like ancestry and the results can be converted on Ysearch.org. If you have a brick wall, it may be broken down by having a male Place take a y DNA test. It is nt a paternity test, just the Y component that all males of the same Place line as yourself should have the same DNA. for information go to Familytree DNA. You can view Y results for Place there are currently only 12. the more who take part the better. Ancestry have 14 people named Place 6 males.

thanks
Edie
