Hi,
As the name is not a common spelling I am finding it hard to get any/many connections for my Family tree.
I know that the name itself has been changed many times back and forward depending on the registrar who did the writing for events such as birth/death and marriages. I suppose many times it was because of the Maghee at the time not being literate to read or write or sign a name. I am aware that many of the registration certifs I have are spelt as Mcghee,so I would be grateful if anyone who may have a family connection to either name and a connection with the Glasgow area in 1700s right through 1800s and may be related to John Maghee c1810 Ireland to Glasgow,to please contact me that we may have a common link on our tree.

Please check for my tree if it does seem possible of your link.

Thanks in adavance.
