As Pearl didn't bother to acknowledge the info found 6 years ago, she is not likely to be looking now |

Agnes Irving daughter of John Irving and Sally Ritson married Robert Boyle, a courier. She had brorthers John, George and William. John 1 was gardener at Rock Hall. John 2 was farm overseer at Colseburn Mains, William was a gardener at Kirkudbright. George was a wood/timber man and moved to America. William wrote a letter to George in 1841 and this account was included. I am working now with a cousin in Scotland to learn more about the Irvings. Hope this helps. Don Simmons |

Looking for the parents of John Boyle who was born in Scotland came to Lancashire when a young man and married in 1852 and lived in Sabden. His first child was born in Kirkubright then he returned to Sabden He had a son Andrew Smith Boyle who is my G. Grandfather. I know that John Boyle married Elizabeth Moorhouse. Johns father was called Joseph do not know name of mother. |
