My Grandads and his sister were sent with Barnados (I think it was banardos for my grandada James Murray b1890) to Canada, they did not go together....My grandad somehow came back to Liverpool and settled (they were sent 5 years apart) Sarah his sister from information fram a distant relative went on to work in a Docters in some capacity, Sarah Murray b1892 left Liverpool 26 may 1911 arrived in June 1911 an board the Virginian , She was 19 at the time, Can anyone find in any Canadian census or Deaths information She arrived in Quebec but I think her destination was Toronto but dont quote me on that... |
