Immigrants from Poland, end of 19th century

I have the marriage certificate of my ancestor Wladyslaw Gerjik (22) from 1894, to Stanisllawa Streia (18) at St Chad's Catholic Church in Manchester. They later moved to Bolton and had six children. The name has changed to Gerik/Geryk/Gerrick or even possibly Garrick. Wladyslaw had a brother, Stanislaw who was a witness at the wedding.

None of them appear in the 1891 census, and I should like to trace how they got here (from Poland, presumably, but without a more detailed location it is difficult to trace in Polish records). I have tried Polish sites, and left messages there.

Are there any immigration records or other sources I could try?
