I am looking for Laura Walker Father Charles E Walker b1825 Mother Mary A b1825.

Laura would have been born between 1846 and 1881.

This Laura is becoming something of an obsession with me.
Originally someone saw my tree and asked why I didn't have Laura Martin in it. I hadn't found one which is why she wasn't in my tree. Then this lady sends me a picture of a lady and written on the back it has

Josh we presume is Josiah Martin and Nellie we presume is his wife Ellen Martin nee Walker.

What we can't find though is that either of them had a sister called Laura.

Isn't this a good one?

The annoying thing is i can't for the life of me find them on the 1851, and i bet then thats where she is lol

Thank you for the 2 Laura's but I had found them but unfortunately the 1871 census shows that Laura Walker b1868 Father is George Walker Mother Maria
I'm not sure who the 1881 census has for Laura b1875 parents.

If Laura was a Martin then surely she would be related to Josiah

I know she would have been Josiah's sister but I cant find her anywhere? The story originally went (before I stuck my nose in) that Laura married a man called Alfred Neuburger and that was the reason one of Josiah and Ellen's son's middle name was Neuburger. I have since found that Sarah Ann A Martin married Alfred Neuburger 1884 (Sarah is a definate sister of Josiah)

So the plot thickens.

Although I do not know anything about your lost Laura. It was good to find so much info on my great Grandfather Charles Edwin Walker born Knaresborough.

I have always searched for the origins of Charles because the first certificate I ever sent for was his marriage to Mary Ann Hermon at St Pancras old church. On that certificate his father was named as William Walker, gentleman.

Do you have any knowledge of this.
