Trying to find what happened to my Great-grandfather Thomas Francis Hall Greenway (known as Frank). He was born in 1849 in Edgbaston, near Birmingham, son of William and Emma. He married Agnes George in 1871, and they produced 8 children.

By 1881 Agnes appeared to have been deserted. She was living with her children Ernest and Lena at Aston with her sister, and four of her sons were in the Wolverhampton Workhouse. I have found no trace of Frank Greenway on the 1881 census or ever since. I have now heard that he may have emigrated to Canada, taking two of his sons with him - possibley Alfred James Harry (born 1875) and Lewis Howard Frank (born 1876), as they disappeared also after the 1881 census. I have also been told that the sons took the name of Greenway-Mallory.

Are there any descendants of Frank or his sons out there who can help.
