No, Billy, just use the site properly...........

Duplicate postings annoy the people who willingly use their time and (often paid-for) resources to give help to others.

With 196 posts to your name, you should by now know how to find your threads...........under TOOLS

Mike, I became disheartened with not finding things out and came to a stand still. It is now I am semi retired I have more time and my mojo has been replenished, so I thought I would take this opportunity to try again, like I said it has been that long since I first started 2004 that I didn't realise I had gone through all this, but thank you Reggie for you're interest and to you Mike and other researchers for looking at my post, it is still frustrating when I am still a novice at this , maybe I should pay somebody to gather the information that I find difficult to collate. :-(

Hi, I have no idea if she is alive or dead, My dad was sent to a scattered home in Oldham because his parent s were Paupers and the used to be in and out of workhouses al the time so my dad who is now deceased was seperated from the others, it wasnt untill i started to research that i found he had a brother and sister, Gladys surname i believe was Ingham but her other brother's surname was Mercer.
I am positive that it was Ingham
