Lindamay you have tagged on to an old posting.

If you could give more details about your Fosters someone may be able to help.
Where was the workhouse ?
Have you got Ellen's birth certificate ?
Who did Ellen marry and who did she name as her father.?

Hi
I am looking for descendants of John or Jack Foster born about 1863 and Emily. John was a fisherman. I believe they had 7 children called Albert, Alfred, Lily, Stanley, Dora May, Jack and Ivy.
Albert went to AUS. where he had at least 1 child but was killed in WW1. Contact with his family was lost in WW2.
Lily never married. I don't know about Alfred or Stanley.
Dora May was my Nan.
Jack married and they had 2 daughters.
Ivy's husband was called Fred (surname unknown) and he was a fishmonger in Hastings. They had 5 children. One of their sons had 2 daughters Susan and Lynne and a son ?Robert. In 1950s they were living in St Leonards near my Nan Dora May.
I would dearly like to meet my cousin who shares my name Lynne again.
Does anybody have any information about my family?

Thank you
Lynne
