My Mother Muriel Morris was in the Padgate Cottage Home from about 1921 to 1935. I wonder if anyone remembers her and knows if she had any brothers or sister. Thank you. I have a couple of photographs of her time there but nothing else.

The records for Padgate Cottage homes were destroyed in the 1950's,my grandfather and 4 of his siblings were inmates there in the early 1900's.The newspapers on line have some info about the board of guardian meetings ,they were reported in the liverpool mercury newspaper. But it is not possible to find any registers or lists of children.Doris :-(
