Barbara is my cousin and I am trying to find out what has become of her.Several members of the family are keen to know news of her.
She was born in Bacup Lancashire in 1940. She helped to run a Public House in Lancashire, then she went travelling to the Isle of Man, and finally to Jersey in the Channel Isles, where it has been rumoured that she has died.. Can anyone throw a light on whatever has happened to her.I have tried to contact her through the link to her here in Genes Re-united, but with no success.
Any news at all would be gratefully appreciated.
Regards Pamela (Rankilor) Baldwin.

Dear Mrs Baldwin,
I am sorry to bring you news of Barbara, but you may already know. Barbara died at her home in Bournemouth on 8 November 2015.
We are a firm of genealogists who are searching for her relatives as she died without apparently leaving a will. If you can bet back to me I can explain to you how Capital Research can help you to make a claim on the estate. I sent you a letter in January to an address in Aylesford, Kent, which may or may not have reached you.

Kind regards,

Arthur Hill

Arthur -

As it's 8 years since Pamela posted that, she's not likely to be looking for replies here now.

You can try sending her a personal message - click on her name at the top of her post.
If she still uses the same email address which she registered with GR at that time, she will be notified that she has a message from you.

Of course, there's no guarantee that she will read or reply to the message.
