I am trying to find Michael J Stenning. Michael left England For Australia 22.12.1959 on board SS Orontes, via the Assisted Passage Scheme, from Tilbury to Melbourne, aged 15, DOB 12.7.1944. English address, 115 Heath View Road, Grays, Essex.

My uncle, Alan Whittaker and mum, Janet Whittaker, would dearly love to make contact.

Michael lived with his nan in Grays, I believe his mum moved to Pulborough in sussex.

Help please, any info gratefully received.

Some Australian friends of Michael are also looking for him. Mick joined the Australian Army and was last seen by them as a sergeant in South Australia in 1981.

Did you ever find him? If so, could you ask him to contact me at [email protected] and I will pass the details on to him.

Hi Paul - first of all you have to remove your mail address - not allowed by GR

Secondly, as Jackie posted so long ago and never came back you could try to make contact via GR by clicking on her name to send a message - sh may still be a member

You could also use her email addy which she has put on here
