My GGgrandfather John Davis was adopted by an 'Uncle Templar John's Grandparents where James Davis and Sarah Templar. Sarah had at least one brother, John Templar, It's very possible that a son or grandson of John Templar (or his brothers son???) may have adopted John Davis he became John Templar 1833? and emigrated to Tasmania 1856 after serving in the Brithish army at Gibraltar I'M LOOKING FOR THAT 'UNCLE TEMPLAR' I am looking for a Templar family line that may have had an adoption in it around 1820 There could of been a second Adoption at the same time as John had a brother James Looking forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help Blu Templar South Australia

John Templar 1737 was John TEMPLER He had no Children
John Templer had two brothers Philip (No known children) and
William Married to Eleanor Ash
3 daughters Mary Elizabeth and Susanna
3 Sons John, Thomas and Issac (Only two surviving at 1804 according to John Templers will)
One of whom could be the missing "Uncle Templar"
