Good Afternoon Peeps

I wonder if some of you wonderful people could help me, with a few dead ends that I have met.

1) My Grandmother was JEAN ELEANOR MOON when she DIED 24/12/2002 in Dunfermline Scotland.
Previous to that she had married a PURDIE ( who I believe was a sapper in the army and that they married in either Uckfield or Cuckfield in Sussex) and prior to that had married and divorced my grandfather JAMES HENRY GADD - I don't know where or when, only that they lived in Cobham Surrey. I know that her father was Scottish and think his name may have been either Alec Campbell or Alec Stewart - all this info was on the marriage cert I had for her marriage to purdie but unfortunately I was burgled and all my documentation was "soiled " so I have had to start again from scratch with what little I can remember.

I would love to know JEAN ELEANORs' maiden name - I know her birthday was in August and I think it was the 5th - she always told me it was the same as Princess Annes ( I only found her 2 years before she died) and also where she was born.

Also any info on all her marriages to GADD, PURDIE and MOON.

She also told me once that she had a child called David that was either adopted or brought up by a neighbour - i'm guessing this would have been late 1930's or 1940's and I think the surname was SCATHE. I believe thathat he later either died or commited suicide - any info greatly received

Many Thanks

Em xx
