ROBERT SMITH born DARVEL 1899 eldest of 7 of parents Robert Smith and Isabella McKinnon.Isabella was my great aunt. The Smith family was our last link with Scotland after my grandfather George emigrated to New South Wales. Last direct contact was between my father Thomas McKinnon and David Smith c 1912, a brother of Robert, who visited Australia in the 60's. |
