Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 2 Send Message	SLOMAN I am looking for information on the Sloman family from the Yorkshire area on behalf of my mother who would like to find out more about her father's family, as would I. I believe they used to own factories in or around Leeds producing cigars and teazles. David Sloman, my grandfather, moved from Yorkshire around the early 1900's and came down to London with my grandmother (maiden name Beatrice Hindle)also from Leeds,Yorkshire. It would be wonderful to find out any information for my mother, who is now 88 years young, in the near future.
