My great-grandmother Elizabeth Scott from Longtown, Cumberland, born 1848, married William Schollick Wilkin, village ploiceman at Penrith. They had several children. Elizabeth's mother was Margaret Scott of MAther, Longtown, and her grandparents were William Scott, handloom weaver and Joanna Scott, of 61Netherby St, Longtown. Margaret had sisters Hellen b 1823, Isabella b 1825, and brothers Robert b 1830, Matthew b 1832 and John b 1838. Any info on the descendants of these brothers and sisters gratefully received - I can offer info on Elizabeth's side.
